## How much does TeamUp cost in 2026?

TeamUp costs **$119 a month for up to 100 active customers** and rises in steps to $379 a month once you pass 500 active customers, on a month-to-month subscription with no setup fee. A custom branded app is an optional add-on at $99 a month on top of that. Every tier includes the same features, and the price ladder is published in USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and CAD on the [TeamUp pricing page](https://goteamup.com/pricing) (checked October 2026).

The number that sets your bill is not how many members sit in your account. It is how many of them book or buy something in a given month. That one detail decides whether TeamUp is cheap or expensive for your studio, so most of this page is about working it out for your numbers.

## TeamUp plans and prices, tier by tier

TeamUp sells one plan with every feature included, and the monthly price moves with your active customer count.

| Active customers a month | USD | GBP | EUR | AUD | CAD |
| --------------------------- | ---- | ---- | ---- | ------ | ------ |
| 0-100 | $119 | £99 | €99 | A$179 | C$159 |
| 101-200 | $189 | £139 | €149 | A$269 | C$259 |
| 201-300 | $219 | £179 | €189 | A$339 | C$299 |
| 301-400 | $249 | £209 | €229 | A$399 | C$339 |
| 401-500 | $289 | £249 | €279 | A$479 | C$399 |
| 501 and more | $379 | £299 | €329 | A$549 | C$519 |
| Custom Branded App (add-on) | +$99 | +£79 | +€89 | +A$149 | +C$119 |

All prices are monthly. The pricing page does not show an annual plan or an annual discount, so if you want yearly billing, ask TeamUp directly. The CAD app price appears only in the pricing page data; the [branded app page](https://goteamup.com/features/custom-branded-app) lists the GBP, USD, EUR and AUD figures and says app updates and edits are included and you can cancel the app with no cancellation fee.

### What counts as an active customer

TeamUp's own definition: "An active customer is someone who has a registration or purchases something from your business during the month. A customer is only ever counted once." In practice that means:

* A member who comes to twelve classes in October counts once for October.
* Lapsed members who did nothing that month do not count, even though they stay in your account.
* A one-off drop-in who buys a single class does count for that month.
* Your count can change month to month, so a busy January can put you in a higher band than a quiet August.

### What every tier includes

The pricing page lists the same feature set for all tiers: memberships and packs, appointments and instructor availability, waivers and forms, online booking, courses, online and in-person payments, a customer store, POS, gift cards, joining fees, a penalty system, reports, scheduling, pay rates, 2-way calendar sync, access control, email and SMS, on-demand programming, family accounts with shared memberships, lead management, referrals, reputation management and an API endpoint. You can run an unlimited number of locations from one account.

## What TeamUp costs at 10, 30 and 75 clients, and at studio size

Anything up to 100 active customers is the same $119 a month, so 10, 30 and 75 active customers all cost $119, or $218 with the branded app.

That flat first band is good news for a new studio and less good news for a solo trainer with 10 clients, who pays the same as a studio with 95\. The table below adds larger studios so you can see where the steps land. The yearly column is simply twelve months at that monthly price, since no annual discount is published.

| Active customers a month | TeamUp subscription | With branded app | 12 months at that price (no app) |
| ------------------------ | ------------------- | ---------------- | -------------------------------- |
| 10 | $119 | $218 | $1,428 |
| 30 | $119 | $218 | $1,428 |
| 75 | $119 | $218 | $1,428 |
| 150 | $189 | $288 | $2,268 |
| 250 | $219 | $318 | $2,628 |
| 450 | $289 | $388 | $3,468 |
| 600 | $379 | $478 | $4,548 |

These totals do not include payment processing, which is the main cost TeamUp does not publish on the pages we checked.

## What else can change your TeamUp bill

The subscription is predictable; the open questions are payment processing and how your active count moves through the year.

| Cost item | What TeamUp publishes | What to ask or check |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Subscription | Six bands by active customers, month-to-month, no contract | Your highest active month in the last year |
| Branded app | $99 / £79 / €89 / A$149 a month on top | Whether you need your own store listing or the standard app is enough |
| Setup and data import | No setup fee; import by "an expert" included | Which data they move: members, passes, bookings history |
| Payment processing | Rates not published on the pages checked | The exact rate per card payment and whether any platform fee is added |
| Annual billing | Not shown on the pricing page | Whether a yearly discount exists |
| Staff seats | No staff limit stated on the pricing page | Whether instructors and front desk logins cost extra |
| Locations | Unlimited locations in one account | Whether active customers are counted across all locations together |

On processing: TeamUp's [Pilates page](https://goteamup.com/product/pilates-studio-management-software) lists Stripe, GoCardless and ACH as payment options. For a reference point, Stripe's standard US rate for online card payments is 2.9% plus 30 cents per successful charge, per [Stripe's pricing page](https://stripe.com/pricing) (checked October 2026). Confirm with TeamUp what you will actually pay before you move your memberships.

A message you can send to TeamUp's sales team as is: "We run about 140 active customers in a normal month and around 210 in January. Which band do we pay in January, is there any platform fee on top of Stripe's card rate, and do instructor logins cost extra?"

## Who TeamUp fits, and who should look elsewhere

TeamUp fits class-based studios and small gyms that want every feature at one published price and like month-to-month terms.

It is a strong pick if you:

* Run group classes with capacity limits and want automatic waitlists, late-cancel and no-show penalties, and the option to let regulars keep their favorite class spot on a recurring basis.
* Sell a mix of memberships, packs, intro offers and appointments. TeamUp lets you set up free trials or paid trial weeks.
* Run more than one location and do not want to pay per site.
* Want an on-demand video library inside the member account and app, hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, with no content limits in TeamUp.

You may be better served elsewhere if:

* **Reformer spot selection is a must.** We did not find pick-a-spot booking on the TeamUp pages we checked. That does not prove it is missing, so ask in the demo. Several studio tools state it openly; our [Pilates studio software comparison](/blogs/best-pilates-studio-software) lists them.
* You are a solo online coach. A per-active-customer studio system is built around bookings and passes, while you mostly need programs, check-ins and messaging.
* Your active count sits right on a band edge. A studio at 95 to 110 active customers will flip between $119 and $189, so budget for the higher figure.

## Where Trainera fits

Trainera's gym plans are priced per plan, not per active customer or per member: Gym Core is $119 a month with unlimited members, White Label is $219 with your own branded iOS and Android apps, and Studio is $259 (US dollar prices; prices differ by country on [trainera.fit/pricing](/pricing)).

The first 3 trainers are included and each additional trainer is $15 a month. Core covers a web dashboard, membership packages, a digital member card with QR check-in, a leads CRM with a 7-stage pipeline, a class planner with recurring series and rosters, a gym website with your own domain, a members-only community feed and online courses. You sell membership packages online by card through the gym's own Stripe account with a 0% Trainera platform fee, and payments taken at the desk can be recorded. New gyms get a 7-day trial with no card.

| Item | TeamUp | Trainera for gyms |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Pricing basis | Active customers a month | Flat per plan, unlimited members |
| 75 active customers | $119 | $119 (Core, up to 3 trainers) |
| 450 active customers | $289 | $119 (Core, up to 3 trainers) |
| Branded app | +$99 a month add-on | Included in White Label ($219) and Studio ($259) |
| Staff | No limit stated on the pricing page | 3 trainers included, then $15 a month each |
| Recurring billing | Stripe, GoCardless and ACH listed | Online package purchase is a one-off card payment; no direct debit |

Be honest with yourself about the last row. Trainera does not auto-charge members every month, and its published gym features do not list waitlists, late-cancel penalties, POS or spot selection. If automated recurring billing and deep booking rules are the core of your studio, TeamUp is likely the better fit. Trainera makes more sense when you also want training and nutrition plans, courses, a community feed and a branded app in one flat price, and when your member count is large enough that a per-active-customer price starts to climb.

## TeamUp alternatives worth pricing

If you are shortlisting, price at least two other tools with your real active count.

* [Best TeamUp alternatives](/blogs/best-teamup-alternatives-2026) compares class-based tools side by side.
* [Trainera vs TeamUp](/blogs/trainera-vs-teamup) goes deeper on features than this pricing page.
* [Mindbody pricing](/blogs/mindbody-pricing-2026): Mindbody says its platform starts at $79 a month per location in the US, with higher tiers quote-based ([Mindbody pricing page](https://www.mindbodyonline.com/business/pricing), checked October 2026).
* [Glofox pricing](/blogs/glofox-pricing-2026): plans start at $99 a month, with the exact price set by quote.
* [bsport pricing](/blogs/bsport-pricing): every plan is quote-only, which makes the comparison harder.

## How to get your exact TeamUp number in 15 minutes

You can price TeamUp accurately before any sales call with data you already have.

1. Export the last 12 months of bookings and sales from your current system.
2. Count unique customers who booked or bought something in each month.
3. Take your highest month, not your average, and find its band in the table above.
4. Add $99 if you want the branded app in your own store listing.
5. Estimate processing on your monthly card volume and ask TeamUp to confirm the rate.
6. Use the [free 7-day trial](https://goteamup.com/signup/) to book a class and buy a pass as a member would, on your phone.

If the number you get is close to a band edge, run the same calculation for one year ahead with your growth plan. That tells you which band you are really buying.
