Gyms: book a demo

What Trainera Automations are.

Trainera Automations send welcomes, reminders and follow-ups to clients and gym members on their own. You start from a ready-made template or build a flow with If/Else branches, and every flow respects quiet hours, per-person limits and STOP replies.

Messages go out through in-app chat and push notifications, or through the email, SMS, WhatsApp and Viber accounts you connect. Trainera adds no per-message fee.

  • For trainers, Automations are included on Starter, Pro, Business, and Enterprise.
  • For trainers, the visual builder with If/Else branches is included on Business and Enterprise.
  • For gyms, Automations are included on Studio and Enterprise.
  • Gyms on Core and White Label can add them with the Automations add-on.

Built not to annoy anyone.

01

Quiet hours

Nothing goes out between 21:00 and 08:00 by default. You can change the hours and the sending days. Replies to a message the person just sent go out right away.

02

Per-person limits

By default one person gets at most 2 automated messages a day and 6 a week from you. A marketing message waits if the person got one in the last 12 hours.

03

You wrote first, it steps back

Soft-touch steps are skipped when you or your staff wrote to the person yourselves in the last 24 hours.

04

STOP means stop

STOP replies in chat, WhatsApp, SMS and Viber are honoured, emails carry an unsubscribe link, and people choose between all automated messages or marketing only.

05

Emergency stop

Pause everything in one click, or use the emergency stop in settings. Only the owner can do it, not staff.

06

Approval when you want it

Require your approval before sending: never, for marketing messages only, or for every message.

Channels you already use.

In-app chat and push

Work from day one, with nothing to connect.

Email

Through your own SMTP or email provider account.

WhatsApp

Your own WhatsApp Business number, connected through Meta. Or prepared messages you send yourself with one tap.

SMS and Viber

Your own Twilio or Viber Business account.

Trainera adds no per-message fee. Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Viber run on your own accounts, at your provider's own rates.

AI drafts it, you switch it on.

01

Ask AI inside Automations

Describe what you want and TRAI, the built-in assistant, drafts the flow and the messages. It can also explain why a client is or is not in an automation.

02

Works with Claude and other AI tools

The Trainera MCP server lets an AI assistant list templates, create drafts, preview messages and read the log.

03

You switch it on

An AI never activates an automation on its own. In the app it asks for your confirmation first, and an external AI tool cannot activate one at all.

See every message that went out.

Activity log

  • An activity log of every run, with the reason a step was sent, skipped or delayed
  • A daily digest at 08:00
  • Version history for every flow
  • Sequences above a smaller plan's limit are paused, not deleted

Quiet hours from 21:00 to 08:00 by default, at most 2 automated messages a day and 6 a week per person from one sender by default, a 12-hour gap between marketing messages, and soft-touch steps are skipped when you wrote to the person yourself in the last 24 hours. TRAI, the built-in assistant, drafts flows and messages inside Automations on Enterprise for trainers and on Studio and Enterprise for gyms, and AI tools such as Claude can draft through the Trainera MCP server. Yes. The activity log shows every run and why each step was sent, skipped or delayed, and a daily digest summarises it at 08:00.
