Learn Trainera by watching someone use it

Two short series - one for trainers, one for their clients. Every screen, in the order you will actually meet it.

What these videos are

Screen recordings of the product as it ships, not a sales reel. If a screen changed, the video gets re-recorded.

Nothing is staged

Every video is a screen recording of the real product with real data in it. What you watch is what you get when you sign up, down to the button placement.

Short on purpose

Most episodes run two to seven minutes and cover exactly one screen. You can watch the one thing you are stuck on instead of sitting through an hour-long webinar.

In release order

Both series start with a full tour and then go screen by screen, in the order you actually meet them. Watch top to bottom on day one, or jump straight to the part you need.

Two audiences, kept apart

The trainer series covers the dashboard, plans, billing and branding. The client series covers the app your clients use. Send your clients the second one and skip the rest.

Questions about the tutorials

No. Every episode is public on YouTube and needs no account, no card and no signup. You can watch the whole trainer series before you decide whether to create a profile.

If you coach people, start with the trainer series - it opens with a full tour of the dashboard and then goes screen by screen. If you train with a coach who already uses Trainera, watch the client series instead; the trainer material is not relevant to you.

Yes, and that is what the client series is for. Share the client playlist when you onboard someone, so you do not have to explain the app one person at a time.

The client series is recorded on the mobile app, which is where clients spend their time. The trainer series is recorded on the web dashboard, because that is where plans, billing and branding are set up. The two share the same data, so anything you do in one shows up in the other.

The videos are narrated in English. The platform itself is translated into 21 languages, so the screens you see in a video will be in your own language once you are logged in.

New episodes go up as features ship, and older ones are re-recorded when a screen changes enough to make the old video wrong. Subscribing to the playlist on YouTube is the easiest way to get the new ones.
