Hevy Coach is one plan priced by client band: $25 for up to 10 clients, $90 for 26-50, $160 for 51-100, billed monthly with a 30-day trial. Here is what that buys, what it costs at 10, 30 and 75 clients next to Everfit, Trainerize and Trainera, and who each tool fits.
How much does Hevy Coach cost in 2026?
Hevy Coach costs $25 a month for 1-10 clients, $50 for 11-25, $90 for 26-50 and $160 for 51-100, rising to $700 a month for 501-1,000 clients. It is one plan priced by client band, billed monthly only, with a 30-day free trial and no credit card needed, according to the Hevy Coach pricing page. Your clients train in the regular Hevy app and get Hevy Pro free while you coach them.
Checked October 2026 against the Hevy Coach pricing page and the pricing pages of every other tool named below. All competitor prices are in US dollars as shown on those pages, and vendors change them, so confirm on the vendor's own page before you buy.

Hevy Coach price bands, one by one
Hevy Coach has no Starter, Pro and Elite ladder. There is one product, and the price depends only on how many clients you coach. The pricing page sets the band through a client selector, and these are the values it shows:

A few details from the same page matter when you budget:
- Monthly billing only. The FAQ says "The subscription is monthly, so you can cancel it anytime", and no annual price is shown. You will not find a yearly discount, but you are not locked in either.
- No overage fee. When you pass the top of a band you move to the next one. There is no separate per-client charge.
- The upper limit is unclear. The FAQ says Hevy Coach accommodates "from 1 client to 500", while the selector goes up to 1,000. If you coach more than 500 people, ask Hevy which applies.
- Billing runs through Paddle. Your coach subscription is processed by Paddle, not by Hevy directly.
The bands are wide, and that cuts both ways. Coaching 11 clients costs the same $50 as coaching 25. But client number 11, 26, 51 and 101 each push the bill into the next band, and going from 25 to 26 clients takes you from $50 to $90 a month.
What the Hevy Coach subscription includes
The Hevy Coach features page and pricing page list unlimited workout programs, a workout builder and a training plan builder, progress tracking, client chat, and coaching teams with a shared library. The video exercise library has 400+ exercises, and you can create custom ones. Clients are coached through the Hevy app, and every client gets Hevy Pro free.
What the pricing page does not cover is just as useful to know before you sign up:
- Client payments. The pricing page does not mention collecting payments from clients, and the Hevy Coach payments help article only covers paying for your own coach subscription. If you want clients to pay inside the app, ask Hevy before you plan around it.
- A branded app. None is offered or mentioned. Clients see the Hevy app, not your brand.
- Nutrition coaching. Nutrition is not among the features Hevy Coach lists. If meal plans or macro targets are part of your service, check the features page for what is covered.
- Setup fees. None are mentioned.
Hevy Coach cost at 10, 30 and 75 clients compared
This is the monthly bill on the cheapest plan that fits each roster, with no add-ons, on monthly billing. Where a vendor offers annual billing, the per-month equivalent is in brackets; that amount is charged once a year up front.

At 10 clients, Hevy Coach's $25 sits close to Everfit's $29 and below Trainerize's $50 for the 15-client tier. At 30 clients its 26-50 band costs $90, more than Everfit's 35-client tier or Trainerize Pro 30. At 75 clients it is $160, between Everfit and Trainerize. Trainera's prices are in US dollars as shown on trainera.fit/pricing for US visitors; prices differ by country.
Two things change these numbers in real life. First, payments: Trainerize charges $10 a month for its Stripe payments add-on, and Everfit charges $9 a month for Payments and Packages plus processing of 3.15% + $0.30 on US domestic cards. Second, annual billing: Everfit and Trainerize are cheaper per month if you pay for the year, while Hevy Coach has no annual option. How the band jumps play out in practice
Every tool on this list has steps. What matters is where those steps sit compared with the roster you actually expect. A few examples using the published prices:
- You grow from 8 to 14 clients. Hevy Coach goes from $25 to $50. On Trainera you move from Starter at $19.99 to Pro at $49.99.
- You grow from 24 to 28 clients. Hevy Coach goes from $50 to $90. Trainera Pro stays at $49.99, since it covers up to 30.
- You grow from 30 to 40 clients. Hevy Coach stays at $90. Trainera moves from Pro at $49.99 to Business at $99, which covers up to 75.
- You grow from 60 to 90 clients. Hevy Coach stays at $160. Trainera Business tops out at 75 clients, so past that you need Enterprise, which is custom priced.
In practice, the coaches who get surprised are the ones who price for today's roster. Use the number you expect in 12 months, then check which band or tier each tool puts you in for both numbers.
Common mistakes when budgeting for Hevy Coach
Using a per-client rate. Some comparison articles describe Hevy Coach as a fixed amount per client. The vendor's own page shows bands, not a per-client rate, so the cost per client falls a lot as you fill a band and jumps when you start a new one.
Forgetting the cost of taking payments. If you collect fees outside the coaching app, you still pay your payment processor. Stripe's standard rate for US domestic cards is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful transaction, according to Stripe's pricing page, plus the admin of matching payments to clients by hand.
Ignoring the client side. If your clients already log every session in Hevy, moving them to a new app costs goodwill and a few awkward weeks. That is a real reason to stay with Hevy Coach, even if another tool is a few dollars cheaper.
Comparing monthly with annual prices. Hevy Coach is monthly only. When a competitor's headline price is an annual-billing figure, compare it with that vendor's monthly price, or add up the full year for both.
