How much does TrainHeroic cost in 2026?

TrainHeroic coach plans cost $9.99 a month for 1 athlete, $17.99 for up to 5, $34.99 for up to 15, $59.99 for up to 35 and $99.99 for up to 100 athletes, with published tiers up to 1,000 athletes and a quote above that. Those are the monthly prices on the TrainHeroic pricing page, checked October 2026; the page shows no annual price.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card, each assistant coach adds $9.99 a month, and selling programs through the TrainHeroic Marketplace has its own per-sale fees. Below: every tier, what you pay at 10, 30 and 75 athletes, the marketplace fees with a worked example, and who TrainHeroic suits best.

TrainHeroic plans and prices

TrainHeroic sells one coach plan priced by the number of athletes you coach, under the line "Pay only for what you need".

What the page adds around that table:

  • Assistant coaches cost extra: "Add Assistant Coaches for just $9.99 / month", per coach.
  • Monthly only: the page shows "/MONTH" prices and "Change Your Plan Anytime". Some third-party sites quote an annual price, but TrainHeroic's own page does not, so we leave it out. Ask sales if you want annual billing.
  • No setup fee or overage is mentioned. When you pass a tier, you move to the next one.
  • No white-label app. Your athletes use the TrainHeroic app. The page says you can "Make TrainHeroic your own by adding your logo, custom exercise demos, and personalized coaching content."

What TrainHeroic costs at 10, 30 and 75 athletes

At 10 athletes you pay $34.99 a month, at 30 athletes $59.99 and at 75 athletes $99.99, because you need the smallest tier that covers your roster.

Your athletesTier you needPer monthWith 1 assistant coach12 months, no assistant
10Up to 15$34.99$44.98$419.88
30Up to 35$59.99$69.98$719.88
75Up to 100$99.99$109.98$1,199.88

The assistant and 12-month columns are our arithmetic from the published prices. Marketplace fees are not included because they depend on what you sell.

The tiers are close together at the low end, so a new athlete rarely means a big jump: going from 15 to 16 athletes moves you from $34.99 to $44.99. The bigger step comes at 51 athletes, where you move straight to the 100-athlete tier at $99.99. Above that the price per athlete drops fast, which suits coaches who program for large teams.

Selling programs: TrainHeroic Marketplace fees

When you sell programs or team subscriptions through TrainHeroic, the fee depends on who brought the buyer: you, through your own link, or TrainHeroic, through what it calls Marketplace Match.

The figures below come from TrainHeroic's help article Marketplace Seller Terms and Payment Information (last updated February 2025, checked October 2026).

Sale typeTrainHeroic feeBank fees
Team subscription sold through your own link$1 a month for each subscription2.9% + $0.30
Program sold through your own link$1 per month of program length2.9% + $0.30, once
Sale driven by TrainHeroic (Marketplace Match)30% of the purchase price2.9% + $0.30

Two details from the same article matter for planning. First, "You do NOT need to pay for athlete seats upfront if you're planning on selling through the Marketplace", so a coach who only sells programs needs just the $9.99 Coach Plan. Second, payouts are made monthly through PayPal on the 15th, so plan your cash flow around one payday a month.

A worked example, using our arithmetic on those published fees: you sell a 3-month program for $60. Through your own link you pay $3 (3 months at $1) plus $2.04 in bank fees and keep $54.96. If the same sale comes through Marketplace Match, you pay $18 (30%) plus $2.04 and keep $39.96. The match fee buys you a buyer you did not have to find, so it can still be worth it for a coach without an audience.

What drives your TrainHeroic bill

Five things decide what TrainHeroic costs you each month: athlete count, assistant coaches, how you sell, whether you need your own app and whether you pass 1,000 athletes.

Who TrainHeroic fits best

TrainHeroic fits performance-focused strength and sport coaches, especially those who program for teams or want to sell programs to an audience they do not have yet.

The company calls TrainHeroic "the home for performance-minded coaches who are: In-Person/Remote, Quality Obsessed, Goal Driven, Ready to Level Up", under the tagline "High-Performance Coaching Starts Here". The listed features are Teams and 1:1, video review, selling programs through the TrainHeroic Marketplace, a customizable library, real-time chat, client tracking and easy client onboarding.

It is the stronger pick when:

  • You coach a team or a school program with dozens or hundreds of athletes, where the upper tiers spread the cost thin.
  • You want to sell programs without paying for athlete seats, starting from the $9.99 Coach Plan.
  • You start with one or a few athletes and want a low entry price.

It is a weaker fit if you want an app under your own brand, if you need annual billing on the published page, or if most of your income would come through Marketplace Match at 30% per sale.

Where Trainera fits

Those are monthly US dollar prices, yearly billing is about 10 times the monthly price, and prices differ by country, so check trainera.fit/pricing for yours. Trainera covers training and nutrition plans, check-ins, habits, chat and payments, with a free client app for iOS and Android in 26 languages, more than 1,800 exercises with video and over 1,100 recipes. On Pro, Business and Enterprise you can also schedule weekly live sessions on YouTube with join reminders and attendance tracking.

Set side by side at the same roster sizes: at 10 clients Starter is $19.99 against TrainHeroic's $34.99, at 30 clients Pro is $49.99 against $59.99, and at 75 clients Business at $99 and TrainHeroic at $99.99 cost about the same. Above 75, TrainHeroic publishes team tiers up to 1,000 athletes, while Trainera moves to a custom Enterprise price. For a large team, TrainHeroic's published ladder is the simpler buy.

On payments, coaching payments through Trainera's Stripe or PayPal carry a platform fee of 8% on Free and Starter, 5% on Pro, 3% on Business and 1% on Enterprise, and 0% on cash and bank transfer. A branded iOS and Android app under your own name comes only with Enterprise. For the full side-by-side, read Trainera vs TrainHeroic.

Questions to send TrainHeroic before you pay

A few short messages to TrainHeroic clear up what the pricing page leaves open.

Send thisWhy it matters
"Do you offer annual billing, and what would the up-to-35 tier cost per year?"The pricing page shows monthly prices only.
"Do athletes who only bought a Marketplace program count toward my athlete tier?"It decides whether selling raises your subscription.
"How do you count program length for the $1-per-month fee on a 12-week program?"The fee is per month of program length.
"If my roster drops below my tier mid-month, when does my price move down?"Team rosters change by season.
"Can Marketplace payouts go anywhere other than PayPal?"Payouts are monthly through PayPal on the 15th.

How to work out your own TrainHeroic number

Take your athlete count today and in six months, find both tiers in the table above, and add $9.99 for each assistant coach. If you sell programs, add the per-sale fees for how you expect buyers to arrive. Compare that monthly total with two alternatives at the same roster size, then use the 14-day trial with real athletes before you move everything over.
