Personal Trainer Apps in the Balkans: 2026 Price Comparison

Which personal trainer app is worth it in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia in 2026?

There is no single winning app: for 1 to 4 clients the free or nearly free tiers are cheapest (Everfit, MyFitWorld, Smart Training), for a large online business with card payments My PT Hub, Everfit and Kahunas have the lowest cost per client, and if your clients pay in cash or by bank transfer and you need everything in Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian, Trainera is strongest. Below we compare 11 apps, with the total monthly cost for 10, 20 and 50 clients and the source and check date for every price.

This comparison is written for trainers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and the wider ex-Yugoslav market, so it includes regional apps that English-language lists never mention. To be clear from the first line: the Trainera team wrote it, and Trainera is one of the apps compared. That is why every competitor price links to the competitor's own page, and a separate section says where others beat us.

How we compared

We opened every pricing page on 28 October 2026 and copied the monthly price on monthly billing, as the vendor shows it (global tools in US dollars, regional ones in euros). Almost all of them offer yearly discounts, noted where relevant. Where a page does not show a price for a given number of clients, the table says "not public" instead of an estimate.

Why does this list need to exist? The most recent regional "best apps" lists we found are from 2022 and 2023 and cover workout apps, not software for trainers. A trainer in Tuzla or Mostar choosing a tool today only has vendor pages and English-language lists that know nothing about KM, bank payment slips and clients who do not read English.

Regional apps: who they are and what they offer

MyFitWorld

The model is a base fee plus a fee per active client: €7.49 a month up to 4 clients, then €7.49 + €3 per client (5 to 14), €6.74 + €2.70 (15 to 29), €5.99 + €2.40 (30 to 49) and €5.24 + €2.10 (50 to 99), according to the pricing on myfitworld.net (checked 28 October 2026). The first 2 clients are free and the trial is 30 days without a card. The site is in English and Serbian, and they list 3,500+ exercise videos. A branded app comes in separate packages. One detail: on the day we checked, the page still showed a "free until 31.12.2025" offer that has expired, so confirm the price before you switch.

Spotter (myspotter.fit)

A Serbian-language app for personal trainers that shows up among the first search results for local queries. The site description in search results mentions training and nutrition plans, messaging and an AI assistant for progress analysis. myspotter.fit itself did not load without JavaScript on 28 October 2026, so we could not read the pricing: for us the price is on request.

Smart Training (Croatian)

The free package gives you a web platform for building programs, and billing starts when you send your first program to a client: Basic €19 for up to 5 clients, Standard €49 for up to 20 and PRO €89 for up to 40, according to smarttraining.online (checked 28 October 2026). They have 3,000+ exercise videos, and the client app is free. A strong choice if what you need first is a good workout editor in Croatian.

TrackRise (Croatian)

For up to 10 clients, Starter is €19, Premium €29 and Studio €39 a month, with discounts of 12, 21 or 35% for paying 3, 6 or 12 months in advance, according to trackrise.org (checked 28 October 2026). The larger tiers (30, 100, unlimited) only appear in the calculator. It is strong for in-person work: sessions with a fixed number of spots, clients book themselves, and the schedule exports to PDF. It runs in the browser as a web app, and a native iOS and Android app is part of the white-label offer.

Treniraj Lako

This is a system for sports clubs, not for personal trainers: Silver €19.99, Gold €49.99 and Platinum €99.99 a month, with an app for parents and membership tracking, according to trenirajlako.com (checked 28 October 2026). If you run a club or a sports school, look at them before us.

Global apps trainers in the region consider

• ABC Trainerize: Basic free for 1 client, Grow $10 (2 clients), Pro from $25 for 5 up to $135 for 50 clients a month; Stripe payments are a $10 add-on, the branded app is $169 one-off, and the FitMetrics AI add-on starts at $6 per client (trainerize.com/pricing, checked 28 October 2026).
• Everfit: free up to 5 clients, Pro $29 for 10, $49 for 20 and $95 for 50 clients a month; payments and packages are a $9 add-on, meal plans from $39 (everfit.io/pricing, checked 28 October 2026).
• TrueCoach: $26.34 up to 5, $57.99 up to 20 and $136.99 up to 50 active clients (truecoach.co/pricing, checked 28 October 2026); in-app payments carry a 5% fee per transaction (TrueCoach help center).
• My PT Hub: for a visitor from the region the page shows euros: Starter €25 (3 clients), Premium €59 with no client limit, Ultimate €215; branded app €95 one-off, Check-Ins AI €10 a month (mypthub.net/pricing, checked 28 October 2026).
• Kahunas: you pay per seat (a client or a team member): $5 for 3 to 24 seats, $2.50 for 25 to 49, $2 for 50 to 99; if a bigger package is cheaper, they bill the bigger one (kahunas.io/pricing, checked 28 October 2026). Automations, recipes and Zapier only unlock from 25 seats, and white label from 200.

Total monthly cost for 10, 20 and 50 clients

Monthly billing, no add-ons, checked 28 October 2026. For MyFitWorld we counted the base fee plus the fee for every active client; since the first 2 clients are free, the real amount can be slightly lower.

Treniraj Lako is not in the table because it does not charge per trainer client but per club package. With Trainera you pay a fixed price with no per-client fee, and prices are fixed per country. In Bosnia and Herzegovina the three plans cost 19,99 KM, 44,99 KM and 84,99 KM. In Croatia they cost €19.99, €44.99 and €84.99. In Serbia they cost 1.590 RSD, 3.590 RSD and 6.990 RSD. In Montenegro they cost €15.99, €35.99 and €69.99. A yearly subscription comes to about 10 monthly payments.

How to read the numbers: among the euro and dollar prices, My PT Hub Premium (€59) is lowest at 50 clients, while Everfit and Kahunas sit around $95 to $100. At 10 clients you pay least with TrackRise and on Trainera Starter. With Kahunas, 20 clients are billed as 25 seats because that is cheaper than 20 seats at $5, and their page says so.

Local language, cash payments and AI

The biggest practical difference for a trainer in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not price but payments. Stripe's list of supported countries (checked 28 October 2026) includes Croatia but not Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia or Montenegro. If your clients pay in person or with a bank payment slip, a tool built only around cards covers half the job. In Trainera you record that payment in the app; the supported payment methods are described separately.

Where others beat Trainera

• Free tier: Everfit is free up to 5 clients, Trainera Free up to 3.
• Fee on online payments: Kahunas takes 0% (you only pay Stripe or PayPal), TrueCoach 5%, and Trainera 8% on Free and Starter, 5% on Pro, 3% on Business and 1% on Enterprise. On cash and bank transfers Trainera takes nothing.
• Your own app in the stores: My PT Hub offers a branded app for €95 one-off, and MyFitWorld has rebranding packages. With Trainera, your own iOS and Android app under your name exists only on the Enterprise plan (custom pricing). The Business plan gives you your own logo and a website on your own domain.
• In-person sessions: TrackRise has sessions with a fixed number of spots and self-booking, built for a trainer working in a gym.
• Clubs: for a club with children and parents, Treniraj Lako is the specialist.
• Video library: Smart Training lists 3,000+ and MyFitWorld 3,500+ exercise videos; Trainera has 1,970+ exercises and 1,650+ recipes.

What Trainera gives a trainer in the region

Training and nutrition plans, check-ins, habits, chat and payments are in one place, and the client gets a free app for iOS and Android (plus Apple Watch). You see the client's data from Apple Health, Health Connect, Fitbit, Polar and Garmin Connect next to the plan. TRAI does not use Garmin data. You get Automations from Starter (1 active, Pro 3, Business 10), Community from Pro, and data is stored in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). TRAI always tells the user it is AI.
