Trainera vs GoFitness: Gym Software Compared (2026)

Trainera or GoFitness: which is better for your gym?

In short: GoFitness prices by the average number of active members (60 € a month for up to 100 members, up to 280 € for 2,000), and sells automatic check-in, a bar/POS, online payments, fiscal receipts, lockers, access control, accounting and payroll as add-on modules charged per location, with no published price. Trainera has fixed prices per country and includes all of them. Starter, the same as Core for up to 100 active members, costs 109 KM, 55 € or 6,490 din a month in the region.

Both run members, packages, classes, bookings and payments. They differ in how they charge and in what comes in the base price. GoFitness is developed by Saniva Development and published by GoSoftware d.o.o. in Belgrade, and says it runs in more than 400 locations. Trainera is gym management software and a member app in 28 languages, with training, nutrition and an AI assistant built in.

Trainera gym prices in the Balkans

Monthly prices. Yearly billing costs ten monthly payments. Three trainers are included on every plan, then 19.99 KM (BA), 9.99 € (HR, ME) or 1,190 din (RS) per extra trainer a month. Trainera takes a 0% platform fee on online sales through the gym's own Stripe account, and migration is free. Starter has a public price in every country, for example $69 in the US and 59 € in Germany; see gym pricing.

Price by gym size

GoFitness bills on the average daily number of active members in the previous month, and above 2,000 members charges 0.15 € per member with a 300 € minimum. For Fitko we used PRO (fiscal receipts and card payments) and ELITE (EntryPoint access control), the plans that include those features; Fitko lists no member caps (fitko.app/cijena-aplikacije, checked 29 Oct 2026). Included or an add-on

The add-on list comes from gofitness.app/pricing, which says add-on modules are charged extra, per location. No add-on price is published.

The member app

Since 30 March 2026 GoFitness members use one shared app, "GoFitness - App", where a member can add several gyms. According to App Store data, the last new GoFitness white-label gym app was published on 20 February 2026, and the last update to any of them was on 7 May 2026 (checked 29 October 2026).

On Trainera Starter and Core, members use the Trainera app on iOS, Android and the web in the gym's colours and logo. The gym's own app on the App Store and Google Play is the White Label plan. That is the only difference between Core and White Label, and the 100-member cap is the only difference between Starter and Core.

Who fits which

• GoFitness suits a gym that wants a desk and back-office system priced by member count and is happy to agree its modules on a demo call.
• Trainera suits a gym that wants the back office plus what members use every day (card, bookings, training, nutrition, community) at one price that does not grow with the member count beyond 100, and wants to start on its own without a demo.

More than one location under one account, or more than 2,000 active members, is Trainera Enterprise, priced on a call.
