TrueCoach Pricing 2026: Plans, Client Caps and Real Cost
TrueCoach has three plans capped by active clients: Starter $29.98 for 5, Standard $69.98 for 20 and Pro $164.98 for 50, with a custom quote above 50. Here is what each includes, the 5% payments fee, the cost at 10, 30 and 75 clients next to Everfit, Trainerize and Trainera, and who each tool fits.
How much does TrueCoach cost in 2026?
TrueCoach costs $29.98 a month for up to 5 clients (Starter), $69.98 for up to 20 (Standard) and $164.98 for up to 50 (Pro) on monthly billing, or $26.34, $57.99 and $136.99 a month on annual billing, per the TrueCoach pricing page. Above 50 clients the price is a custom quote. Every plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and client payments through TrueCoach Payments carry a flat 5% fee per transaction.
Checked October 2026 against the TrueCoach pricing page, its help center and the pricing pages of the other tools named below. TrueCoach states that all prices are in US dollars. Vendors change prices, so confirm on the vendor's own page before you buy.

TrueCoach plans and prices, plan by plan
TrueCoach sells three self-serve plans, each capped by the number of active clients. The figures below are read from the pricing page's own monthly and yearly price values.

The default agreement is month to month. Annual plans are paid up front and, for first-time annual subscribers, come with a 90-day money-back guarantee; the page marks it "Restrictions Apply", so read the terms before you count on it.
The client limits are hard caps. There is no per-client overage fee: when client number 6 or 21 signs up, you move to the next plan. That is where most of the cost surprises come from. Going from 20 to 21 active clients takes you from $69.98 to $164.98 a month, a jump of $95.
Fees: what TrueCoach charges on top
On the subscription itself, the TrueCoach FAQ answers "Are there any extra fees?" with "Nope, what you see is what you get." No setup fee is listed, and the custom-branded app is part of Standard and Pro rather than a paid add-on.
Client payments are the one real extra. The pricing page calls them "Free Automated Payments", which means there is no add-on subscription to switch payments on. But TrueCoach Payments, which runs on Stripe, charges a flat 5% fee per transaction on the invoice total, and the fee also applies to refunds, according to the TrueCoach help article on processing fees. Budget it as 5% of everything your clients pay through the app.
What you get on each plan
All plans list a program and workout builder, a client management tracker, nutrition and habit tracking that works with MyFitnessPal, in-app messaging and automated payments. The exercise library is listed as "3,000+ Video Exercise Library" on the plan cards. TrueCoach uses different numbers on different parts of its site (3,000+ on the cards and on the video exercise library page, 3,500+ further down the pricing page), so 3,000+ is the safe figure.
Standard and Pro add:

- Wearable connections (Apple, Garmin, WHOOP)
- Public coach profiles
- Zapier automations. The feature list calls Zapier "Exclusive to Pro" while the Standard card also lists it, so ask TrueCoach which applies before you plan around it.
In practice, TrueCoach is built around programming. Nutrition appears on the plan cards as MyFitnessPal nutrition and habit tracking, which suits coaches who set macro targets and let clients log their own food.
TrueCoach cost at 10, 30 and 75 clients compared
Monthly bill on the cheapest plan that fits, no add-ons, monthly billing, with the annual-billing per-month figure in brackets where a vendor offers one.

TrueCoach is the most expensive of these at 10 and 30 clients, and the only one that does not publish a price at 75. Part of the gap is the branded app: TrueCoach includes it from Standard, while Trainerize sells a Pro-level custom-branded app for a $169 one-time fee (plus your own Apple developer account at $99 a year), and Everfit lists a fully white-labelled app only under its quote-based Enterprise plan. Common mistakes when sizing a TrueCoach plan
Picking the plan for today's roster. Starter stops at 5 clients and Standard at 20. If you expect to pass 20 within a few months, price the Pro plan now, because that is the number you will be paying.
Comparing annual prices with monthly ones. TrueCoach's annual figures are lower per month, but you pay the year up front. When you compare it with a monthly-only tool, use the monthly price or total the year for both.
Leaving payment fees out of the budget. The 5% on TrueCoach Payments is easy to miss because the feature is labelled free. Work it out from your expected monthly client revenue.
Not checking how nutrition works. If you write meal plans for clients, check whether the MyFitnessPal route covers what you deliver, or whether you would run a second tool next to TrueCoach.

Trainera prices trainer plans per plan, not per client. Payments through Trainera's Stripe or PayPal carry a platform fee of 8% on Free and Starter, 5% on Pro, 3% on Business and 1% on Enterprise; cash and bank transfer carry 0%. On Free and Starter that 8% is higher than TrueCoach's 5%, so if most of your income runs through card payments, factor it in.
Where TrueCoach is the better pick: you want a custom-branded app at 6 to 50 clients. On Trainera, Pro sets your own brand colours and Business adds your logo and a website on your own domain, but your own branded iOS and Android app comes only with Enterprise. Between 21 and 50, the jump to $164.98 is the part to plan for. Above 50, you need a quote before you can compare at all.
