Everfit vs Kahunas 2026: Cost at 10, 30 and 75 Clients
Everfit is free up to 5 clients and cheaper at 10; Kahunas costs less at 30 and 75 clients and includes nutrition, automations and a branded app on Ultimate. Real prices checked October 2026, add-ons included.

Everfit or Kahunas: which one should you pick?
Pick Everfit if you coach five clients or fewer (its Starter plan is free), if you want to grow in small price steps, or if you plan to sell on-demand video collections. Pick Kahunas if nutrition is a big part of your coaching, if you want automations and Zapier without buying add-ons, or if you expect to pass 50 clients and want one price for unlimited clients with your own branded app. On list prices Everfit is cheaper at 10 clients and Kahunas is cheaper at 30 and 75.
Every figure below was checked October 2026 on the vendors' own pages: Everfit's pricing page and the pricing block on the Kahunas homepage, where Kahunas currently lists its plans. Prices change, so confirm them at checkout before you commit.
How do Everfit and Kahunas charge?
Everfit charges by client tier in many small steps and sells extra features as add-ons; Kahunas sells three plans with wide client bands and puts more features into each plan.
Everfit has a free Starter plan for up to 5 clients. The Pro plan then runs in 12 tiers, from $19 a month for 5 clients to $290 a month for 300 clients, and the Studio plan starts at $105 a month for 50 clients. Above 500 clients, Enterprise is quote-only. Annual billing is labeled "save 16%" and "Get 2 Months FREE". There is no per-client overage fee: when you outgrow a tier, you move up to the next one.
Kahunas has Essentials at $35 a month or $315 a year for up to 25 clients, Growth at $69 a month or $621 a year for up to 50 clients, and Ultimate at $99 a month or $900 a year for unlimited clients. The yearly prices work out to roughly nine months of the monthly price (our arithmetic; the page states no percentage). The page shows prices with a $ sign and does not name the currency, so if you are outside the US, check what your checkout shows. You can upgrade from your dashboard at any time.

What does the list price leave out?
Once you add automation and online payments, the gap at 30 clients grows, because Everfit sells both as add-ons and Kahunas includes them in Growth.
Here is the same coach on both tools: 30 clients, automated check-in reminders, and clients paying by card inside the app.
- Everfit, monthly billing: Pro 35 at $75, plus Autoflow at $29 (the price for the first 30 clients), plus Payments & Packages at $9. That is $113 a month before card fees. For US accounts, Everfit's help center lists processing at "$0.30 + 3.15%" for domestic cards and "$0.30 + 4.65%" for international cards, and says these rates include Stripe's fees (Everfit processing fees, checked October 2026).
- Kahunas, monthly billing: Growth at $69, with automations included. Kahunas says it takes no commission on your sales through Stripe and PayPal. Stripe or PayPal still charge their own processing fees, which Kahunas does not list.
Add Everfit's Meal Plans & Recipe Books add-on ($39 a month) if you write meal plans, and the gap widens again. The other side of this: if you only need workouts and chat, Everfit's lower tiers do not make you pay for nutrition and automation features you will not use.
Two Kahunas costs are not published. Growth gives you the "ability to purchase extensions" without stating extension prices, and Ultimate has an "option to add team members" without a price. If you plan to hire a second coach, ask before you buy.
When is Everfit the better choice?
Everfit fits best when you are small, growing slowly, or want to sell video content alongside 1:1 coaching.
- You have five clients or fewer. Starter is free, so you can coach a first small group without a software bill.
- You grow a few clients at a time. With tiers at 5, 10, 20, 35 and 50 clients, you pay for roughly what you use. Kahunas jumps from 25 to 50 clients in one step.
- You want on-demand collections. On-Demand Collections is an add-on from $25 a month on Pro and is included in Studio.
- You want a longer trial. 30 days with no card gives you a full month of check-ins to judge the client experience.
Everfit's headline features include a workout builder, an advanced program builder, habit coaching and an AI-powered Smart Response feature. If you are leaving Everfit, our list of Everfit alternatives covers more options.
When is Kahunas the better choice?
Kahunas fits best when you coach nutrition seriously, want marketing and automation tools without add-ons, or already have more than 50 clients.
- Nutrition is half your service. The food database, barcodes, micronutrients and supplement plans come with the plan, not as an extra.
- You want lead capture and automation in one price. Growth adds lead gen forms, automations, bulk client upload, a "Health Score A.I", group messaging and Zapier.
- You have 50+ clients. Ultimate is $99 a month for unlimited clients, so your bill stops growing with your roster.
- You want your own app in the stores. Ultimate includes your own branded iOS and Android apps and app store listings. Kahunas says it gets "99% of all apps live within 30 days" and that you need your own Apple developer account, which Apple charges yearly for (see the Apple Developer Program).
Kahunas also lists custom check-in forms, habit tracking, a calendar, wearable integration and voice notes in messaging.
Questions that settle the choice
Answer these five questions with your real numbers and the choice usually makes itself.
| Question | If yes, lean toward | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Will you stay at 5 clients or fewer for the next few months? | Everfit | Starter is free; Kahunas has no free plan |
| Do most clients get a meal plan or macro targets from you? | Kahunas | Nutrition tools are in every plan; Everfit's meal plans are an add-on |
| Do you want automated reminders or onboarding sequences? | Kahunas (Growth) | Included; Everfit's Autoflow starts at $29 a month extra |
| Will clients pay you inside the app by card? | Kahunas | No commission and no payments add-on; Everfit adds $9 a month plus its processing rate |
| Do you sell recorded workouts as a library? | Everfit | On-Demand Collections is built for that and included in Studio |
| Are you between 26 and 35 clients? | Check both | Kahunas Growth ($69) and Everfit Pro 35 ($75) are close; add-ons decide it |
How to test both in one week
Run the same three real clients through both trials at the same time; one week shows you more than any feature list.
- Build one program you actually use, with your own exercise videos, in each tool.
- Set up one weekly check-in form with the same questions in each.
- Invite two or three clients you trust and ask them to log every session in both apps for a week.
- Write one meal plan or set macro targets in each, if you coach nutrition.
- At the end of the week, ask the clients which app they would keep, and add up your monthly cost with every add-on you used.
A message you can send to those clients: "Hi [name], I'm testing two coaching apps this week and would love your help. You'll get two invite emails today. Please log your sessions in both, and on Sunday tell me which one felt easier. Your program stays the same." If you then move your whole roster, our guide on switching coaching platforms without losing clients walks through the order of steps.
A third option: where Trainera fits
Trainera is worth a look if you want nutrition, automations and payments in one plan with a flat price per plan rather than per client.
Trainera's trainer plans are Free ($0, up to 3 clients), Starter ($19.99 a month, 10 clients), Pro ($49.99, 30 clients), Business ($99, 75 clients) and Enterprise (custom price, unlimited clients). Prices are in US dollars and differ by country, as shown on trainera.fit/pricing. The library has more than 1,800 exercises with video and 1,100+ recipes, and the platform covers training and nutrition plans, check-ins, habits, chat and payments, with a free client app for iOS and Android. Automations are included from Starter (1 automation on Starter, 3 on Pro, 10 on Business).
To be fair about the trade-offs: when clients pay you through Trainera's Stripe or PayPal, Trainera keeps a platform fee that depends on your plan (8% on Free and Starter, 5% on Pro, 3% on Business, 1% on Enterprise), and 0% on cash and bank transfer. Kahunas takes no commission, so if most of your revenue runs through in-app card payments, that matters. A trainer's own app in the App Store and Google Play is only on Enterprise, so if your own store listing matters now, Kahunas Ultimate gets you there at a published price. If you switch, Trainera's team moves your clients and plans across for free. Our guide to coaching platforms without per-client fees compares more pricing models side by side.
Your decision in three lines
Under 6 clients or growing slowly, start on Everfit. Nutrition-heavy, 26+ clients or wanting your own store app, Kahunas usually costs less for what you get. Run both trials with real clients before you move anyone, and price your plan with every add-on you will actually turn on.
