My PT Hub or PT Distinction: which one should you pick?

Pick My PT Hub if you want unlimited clients at one flat Premium price, a very large exercise video library and group bookings, classes and live streams in the same tool. Pick PT Distinction if you want your own branded app included from the Pro plan, add extra trainers at no cost and coach a roster that stays near 25 to 50 clients. The bigger your roster, the more My PT Hub's flat price works in your favor, because PT Distinction charges for every client above the plan's included number.

Both are mature tools for personal trainers and online coaches, and both cover workouts, nutrition and check-ins. The real differences are the pricing model, how the branded app is sold and how each handles a team. All figures below come from the vendors' own pricing pages, checked October 2026.

My PT Hub vs PT Distinction at a glance

My PT Hub sells three plans where Premium and Ultimate have no client limit, while PT Distinction sells three plans with included clients and a monthly fee per extra client.

One thing to know first: the My PT Hub pricing page showed prices in euros when it was checked, and the same numbers appear as US dollars in the page's structured data, so the currency you see may depend on where you are. The PT Distinction pricing page shows US dollars. Compare the numbers with that in mind.

The library size for My PT Hub comes from its features page. PT Distinction does not publish a current number on its pricing or features pages, only "thousands".

What do they cost at 10, 30 and 75 clients?

My PT Hub Premium costs €59 a month at 10, 30 and 75 clients, while PT Distinction costs $59.90, $71.90 and $129.90 as the per-client extras add up.

For PT Distinction, 10 clients fit inside Pro's 25, 30 clients means Pro plus 5 extra clients at $2.40, and 75 clients is cheapest on Master: $89.90 plus 25 extra clients at $1.60. Basic would already cost $61.90 at 10 clients, so Pro is the better buy from there. These figures ignore the free first month PT Distinction gives on each extra client.

The table leaves out My PT Hub's intro offers (50% off the first 2 months on flexible Premium, 70% off on annual paid monthly), because they end. How do the branded apps really compare?

PT Distinction includes a branded app in Pro and Master, while My PT Hub sells two different branded options: a one-time custom branded app and a monthly white label app with its own store listing.

My PT Hub's pricing page separates them clearly. The custom branded app for iOS and Android is a €95 one-time fee on Starter and Premium. The white label app, with your own App Store and Google Play listing, is €145 a month on Premium and is included in Ultimate. For the white label app, My PT Hub asks for your own developer account, a DUNS number, an independent website and an independent privacy policy. Apple's account comes from the Apple Developer Program, which has its own annual fee.

PT Distinction's page says "Your own custom branded Android and iOS apps" on Pro and Master. It does not say on the pricing page whether that means a separate store listing under your name, so ask before you sign. When is My PT Hub the better choice?

My PT Hub fits a coach with a growing roster who wants the bill to stay flat and needs classes or group sessions next to 1:1 coaching.

• Premium has no client cap, so client 76 costs the same as client 10.
• The pricing page lists group bookings, classes and live streams, community features and habit coaching next to the AI workout builder, nutrition coaching and automated check-ins.
• It publishes a library of 8,000+ HD exercise videos; PT Distinction gives no current number.
• The 30-day trial needs no card, and you drop to the Free plan if you do not upgrade.

Watch the add-ons. A second trainer, Check-Ins AI, Zapier and the white label app each add a monthly fee, and Ultimate bundles them at €215 a month. My PT Hub's own commission on client payments through Stripe was not published on the pages checked, so ask support.

When is PT Distinction the better choice?

PT Distinction fits a coach or small team under roughly 50 clients who wants a branded app without paying extra for it.

• Pro at $59.90 includes 25 clients and the branded apps.
• Extra trainers are free, which matters for a studio with several coaches sharing one account.
• The pricing page lists an AI Program Builder, AI Smart Meal Planner, AI Assistant, automated workflows, scheduled email and SMS, and client exercise technique reviews.
• "No commitments or minimum terms", with simple monthly pricing.

The catch is scale. Every client above the included number adds a monthly fee, so a roster of 100 or more grows the bill steadily. There is also no annual discount on the page. PT Distinction's own commission on client payments was not stated on official pages, so confirm it in the trial.

What to ask before you move your clients

Send these questions in the trial and get the answers in writing.

1. "Is the branded app on my plan a separate App Store and Google Play listing under my business name?"
2. "What fee, if any, do you add on top of Stripe when my clients pay me through the app?"
3. "If I leave, can I export my clients, programs and check-in history?"
4. For My PT Hub: "Which currency will I be billed in, and is VAT added?"
5. For PT Distinction: "When I add an extra client, when does the first free month end and the monthly charge start?"

Question 1 matters most if clients find you by searching the app stores: a listing under your own name is a different product from a branded look inside the vendor's app.

Is there a third option?

Yes: Trainera covers training, nutrition, check-ins, habits, chat and payments at a flat price per plan, with plan-based client limits instead of per-client fees.

Where the other two are the better pick: if you need your own store app at a small roster, PT Distinction includes one on Pro and My PT Hub sells one for a one-time fee, while Trainera builds and publishes your own branded iOS and Android app only on Enterprise.
